These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Veristream platform and services. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

1. Account Registration

To use Veristream, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account.

2. Subscription Plans and Billing

Veristream offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed on a monthly recurring basis. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

• Subscription fees are charged at the beginning of each billing cycle.
• You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
• Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing cycle.
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' prior notice. Continued use of the platform after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Veristream only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

• Use the platform to engage in any fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activity
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform or its systems
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to extract data from the platform beyond what is provided through normal use
• Redistribute, resell, or sublicense access to the platform or its data without our written consent
• Use the platform in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our services

4. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Veristream platform — including but not limited to software, text, graphics, logos, and design — are owned by Veristream and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the platform for your own business purposes.

5. Data and Third-Party APIs

Veristream provides analytics derived from publicly available data and data obtained through authorized third-party APIs, including the Spotify API. We present this data in good faith and strive for accuracy, but we do not guarantee that all data is complete, current, or error-free.

Your use of data obtained through our platform must comply with all applicable laws and the terms of service of the underlying data providers.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Veristream shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the platform.

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the platform shall not exceed the total amount you paid to Veristream in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms. You may also close your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately, and we may delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the effective date. Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
